Tasha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from North Dakota State University and a Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. With a longstanding passion for human performance and movement, she is excited to bring her skillset to Dynamic YVR and support the health and goals of the Vancouver community.
Originally from the Fraser Valley, Tasha followed her love of sport and became a collegiate Track and Field athlete in the USA. During which she competed in the NCAA championships in both Hammer Throw and Shot Put, while also representing Canada as a junior national athlete. After graduating, she transitioned into Olympic Weightlifting, where she is now a national medalist. Her background in high-performance sport strongly influences her practice—she understands the demands athletes face, the importance of tailored support, and the value of practitioners who truly listen to training needs.
Living with Type 1 Diabetes has also greatly shaped her perspective. It has given her a deep appreciation for the complexity of chronic conditions, especially within active populations. Her own challenges have reinforced her commitment to individualized care that supports both health and athletic goals.
Tasha’s approach to treatment is grounded in deep tissue and movement-based techniques. She collaborates closely with each patient to build a treatment plan that aligns with their goals—whether that means returning to sport, improving everyday movement, or managing chronic pain. Above all, Tasha wants her patients to feel supported. She sees her role as a partner in their recovery and education, helping them build confidence in their movement patterns and empowering them to take an active role in their health.
Outside of the clinic or her own weightlifting training, Tasha can be found baking, thrift shopping, or on the hunt for the best donut in the city.
